What is your mind stayed on?

Worry can bring us down. No matter how wonderful your life is, you can find something to worry about. You can let any situation steal your peace. Responsiblities, sickness, finances, relationships, you name it! You can allow situations to get to you. You know how you invite worry into your life, you focus on the problems instead of the solution. Our natural reaction to problems is to focus on them, but God has not called us to focus on our problems, He’s called us to think on our ultimate solution.

Isaiah 26:3-4 declares, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:" Did you catch that first part? It says, "Whose mind is stayed on thee:" What is your mind stayed on? What is your focus? If you focus on responsibilities, sicknesses, finances, relationships, etc. , you will have doubts, cares and worries. But if you focus on God and His power, you will realize how much the Lord has promised you.

Here’s a few things,

Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Romans 8:38-39
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Hebrews 13:5b
" I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

Isaiah 41:10
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Won’t you reflect on God’s promises? Don’t allow the cares of this life to bring you trouble. Ask God to help you as you seek to trust Him to handle all your problems. Seek His kingdom, and his righteousness and you will find that everything will come into place.
